Terms & conditions.
The agreement between you and the organisers — for entrants, contestants and supporters.
By using this website, entering the pageant or buying votes, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
"We", "us" and "the organisers" mean Miss NAA Pageant and the committee that runs it. "You" means anyone who uses this website, applies to compete, competes, or votes.
2. Entering the pageant
To enter you must:
- be a woman aged between 18 and 26 at the date of the grand finale;
- be unmarried and without children;
- be born in, or currently resident in, the Eastern Region of Ghana;
- hold valid photo identification;
- be available for auditions, training activities and the finale.
Everything in your application must be true. A false or misleading statement disqualifies you at any stage, including after a crown has been awarded, and any prize may be reclaimed.
3. Selection is at the organisers' discretion
Submitting an application does not guarantee an audition, and attending an audition does not guarantee selection. The organisers' decisions on shortlisting and selection are final, and we do not enter into correspondence about individual selection decisions.
4. Fees
The application fee covers administration and is not refundable once your application has been submitted, except in the circumstances set out in our refund policy.
5. Contestant obligations
If selected, you agree to:
- attend training, rehearsals, media activities and the finale, or give reasonable notice if you cannot;
- behave professionally and respectfully toward other contestants, staff, judges and sponsors;
- not bring the pageant into disrepute, on or off the stage, including on social media;
- follow reasonable instructions from the organisers during official activities;
- disclose anything that would affect your eligibility as soon as you become aware of it.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in withdrawal from the competition.
6. Photographs and media
By entering you grant the organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use photographs, video and audio recordings of you taken during official pageant activities, for promoting this and future editions, in any medium. You are not paid for this use.
This licence covers pageant promotion only. It does not permit the organisers to sell your image to third parties for unrelated advertising without your separate written consent.
The identification documents you upload are never published — see our privacy policy.
7. Judging
Judges score independently against published criteria. Public votes are combined with judges' scores, and the weighting is published before each round opens. Scores and vote totals are recorded separately and neither can overwrite the other. The judges' decision is final.
8. Voting
Voting is governed by the voting rules, which form part of these terms. In summary: votes are created only by a verified payment, there is no limit on how many you may buy, every vote is checkable against its reference, and votes are not refundable once verified except as set out in the refund policy.
9. Prizes
Prizes are as published on the prizes page. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless stated. Where a prize is provided by a sponsor, its delivery is the sponsor's responsibility and may be subject to their own terms. Any tax arising on a prize is the winner's responsibility.
The organisers may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond their control make the advertised prize unavailable.
10. Changes and cancellation
The organisers may change dates, venues, the format of the competition or these terms. Material changes are published on this website. If the edition is cancelled before auditions begin, application fees are refunded.
11. Website use
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website, interfere with its operation, use automated tools to vote, or scrape its content for republication. Content on this site, other than contestant-supplied material, belongs to the organisers.
12. Accuracy
We work to keep this website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors. Vote totals are derived from verified payments and are the authoritative record; where a displayed figure conflicts with the vote ledger, the ledger governs.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organisers are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or participation in the pageant. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Complaints
Write to hello@missnaapageant.com setting out what happened and what you would like done. We acknowledge complaints within two working days and aim to resolve them within fourteen.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
